Liz Oxburgh

Now that I've retired, I have time for activities such as painting, print-making and pottery... And once the Refugee Week 2020 competition is finished, I'll use this website to show my art work.

My interest in the work of Refugee Support Devon comes from knowing about the experiences of my in-laws - all very much affected by the Second World War.

Life chances are exactly that - good or bad luck - not only virtue and hard work.  Knowing this I take a more active role in Refugee Support Devon. As well as giving financial support (always crucial!), I am a trustee helping to promote awareness of refugee issues and events like Refugee Week.
